We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to manage meal preparation and maintain high standards of food hygiene on board. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a maritime or industrial kitchen environment, with a strong knowledge of menu planning, dietary requirements, and food safety regulations. A valid STCW certification and recent medical certification are required.
Key responsibilities include preparing balanced meals for the crew, managing food stock and supplies, and ensuring cleanliness and organization in the galley. The Cook will be responsible for handling inventory, planning menus according to nutritional needs, and preparing meals that accommodate dietary restrictions. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, resourceful, and able to handle the unique demands of cooking at sea.
Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Familiarity with maritime safety protocols and emergency procedures is essential.
