We are looking for a qualified 2nd Officer to join our team, ensuring smooth vessel operations and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a 2nd Officer or similar position on dry cargo vessels. The position requires a valid STCW license, current medical certifications, and proficiency in English for efficient communication with the crew and port authorities.

The 2nd Officer will be responsible for assisting the Chief Officer with navigation and deck operations, ensuring compliance with maritime safety protocols, and supervising deck crew in daily tasks. Responsibilities include watchkeeping, cargo inspection, and reporting any issues to senior officers. A key part of the role involves handling emergency response procedures, safety drills, and ensuring vessel readiness.

The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and multitasking skills, be detail-oriented, and maintain a proactive attitude in identifying and solving operational challenges. The position requires knowledge of cargo management, navigation systems, and safety equipment.
